Co-Founder Opportunity: Build & Scale a Customer-Centric Grocery Concierge (Equity Stake)

About Us

We are the team behind Caffeign.Com, providing premium concierge and delivery services to residents and vacationers throughout Cape Coral, Sanibel, and Captiva. We are scaling rapidly, utilizing custom-built logistics technology and a strategic business plan to recapture market share. We are refocusing on the customer commitment that has been lost in recent years by the large, impersonal corporations currently dominating the area.

The Opportunity & The Partnership Structure

This is a high-impact, equity-based partnership. We are currently a one-owner operation, and we are looking for a key individual—or a small, elite leadership team—to join the enterprise at the ground-floor level. This is a rigorous startup phase; in exchange for your commitment and leadership, you will be granted a significant equity stake—with individual ownership ranging from 20% up to as high as 49%—upon our formal LLC/Corporation filing.

  • To ensure our goals, work styles, and dedication levels are perfectly aligned, every candidate must successfully complete a two-week "Partnership Trial" period.
  • The Two-Week Trial: This trial is a practical, hands-on stage to ensure both you and the Caffeign.Com team are a perfect match for this long-term endeavor.
  • Mutual No-Recourse: During these first 14 days, either party may terminate the partnership for any reason, at any time, with no further obligations or recourse against the other party.
  • Formal Documentation: Upon beginning the trial, all parties will sign a Pre-Incorporation Service Agreement. This agreement outlines the Independent Contractor (1099) status, clarifies that this is not an employment relationship, and formalizes the commitment to the equity stake described above.

Note: This position is unpaid during the startup phase; the compensation is the deferred equity and long-term ownership stake in the enterprise.

The Challenge

We are entering a challenging environment. We are competing directly with large, established companies that hold a significant footprint in Southwest Florida. We have a written business plan in place, a specialized website, and a streamlined operational model designed to provide the customer-centric service that our competitors have abandoned. We are looking for a partner who thrives on competition and is motivated to win.

The Commitment & Requirements

  • Time Commitment: 50–60 hours per week.
  • Fluent English: Must communicate effectively with local clientele and vendor partners.
  • Citizenship: Must be a United States citizen.
  • Transportation: Must possess a valid Florida Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
  • Grocery Operations: Proven experience as a professional shopper (e.g., Instacart, Shipt, or retail) with a deep understanding of product selection and quality control.
  • Technical Literacy: Proficiency in computer data entry, inventory accountability, and navigating custom digital dashboards.

Your Role

  • Operations & Fulfillment: Manage the end-to-end process from order receipt to delivery.
  • Inventory Accountability: Maintain precise records of stock, pricing, and product data.
  • Strategic Execution: Work directly with the founder to manage our custom logistics technology.
  • Customer Concierge: Deliver the high-level, reliable service our clients expect from the Caffeign.Com brand.

How to Apply

If you are ready for a challenging, ground-floor commitment, please email team@caffeign.com with:

  • A summary of your relevant experience in grocery operations, logistics, and data management.
  • Confirmation of your ability to meet the 50–60 hour weekly commitment.
  • Why you are specifically looking for an equity-based partnership rather than traditional employment.
  • Personal Perspective: Send all pertinent information you feel gives insight to why you are a person who would appreciate an opportunity like this and would show respect for themself and others in the process.
